Do you offer a turn-key planning and design service that also covers grid connection application, environmental permitting and local authority planning consent

Technical

Gasification has a tarnished reputation with all funders.  Can you demonstrate working plant in the UK (or anywhere for that matter) running on the type of waste that I want to burn?

You claim your system is WID compliant.  Can you demonstrate that you have UK Environmental Permits for any of your systems and can you prove that you have met all environmental standards

Has the Environment Agency ever prohibited you from burning any wood product or waste of any kind?

Is your burner technology self-cleaning?  If not, how much operator input and maintenance time will be required to keep the system running?

If you have working plant, can you demonstrate how your system deals with boiler fouling?

If you have working plant, can you prove that it can run to its design specification.

You claim to have working plant.  Why then are there only artists impressions and engineering line drawings evidenced on your website.

Will your plant run on all low grade wood waste - including fines?

How does your plant deal with rogue objects in the fuel stream? (ferros/non-ferros or oversize)

Do you offer 24hr remote monitoring?

What liquidated damages do you offer if the the build schedule runs over-time?

What performance guarantees do you offer?

Your system components are made abroad and your installation team don't speak English.  What is the response time therefore for mechanical breakdown?  Are we at the mercy of Ryanair.com and external translators?

Financial

Does your financial model rely on high gate fees to stack-up?

Does your financial model rely on realistic plant availability percentages?

Has your technology ever failed technical and therefore financial due diligence by a recognised consulting engineer?

How will you guarantee that a bank will fund the project?

Have you reached financial close on any previous UK installation?

Can you show us that your balance sheet is strong enough to give us confidence that you can undertake a project of this size?

Has your management team ever been part of a failed Efw equipment providing company?  If so what will you do differently to make sure it doesn't happen again?

ROCs

Have you got Ofgem registration for any UK installation?

Have Ofgem approved your testing methodology?

Have you ever claimed any ROCs?
