Bioflame secure's its first planning consent North of the Border

The planning team at Bioflame were celebrating their latest 'first' today as Renfrewshire Council granted full planning consent for a 2.5MW Energy from Wood Waste plant at Linwood.
This planning is the thirteenth consequetive consent granted to a Bioflame joint-venture and comes hot on the heels of securing the first planning consent appeal 'scalp' earlier this week. This consent proves to be another first - the first Scottish planning consent. The planning regime in Scotland differs from that of the English counties in many ways so they allowed themselves a full five minutes of celebration before buckling down to their next planning appeal battle - this time with the good burgers of North Tyneside.
