Sandsfield Heat & Power ready for grid energisation on time and on budget

A glance at the progress at Brandesburton, our second Joint Venture plant due to go into service this summer 2010 a few weeks ahead of schedule after a 14 month build period.
Sandsfield Heat & Power Ltd, a joint venture between Bioflame, its equity funders Ventus and Sandsfield Gravel Company and located at Brandesburton in East Yorkshire is now ready for grid energisation. The overall project reached financial close with debt funders The Co-operative Bank in early January 2010. As Principal Contractor, Bioflame is pleased to announce that the circa £10m project is on time and on budget and likely to export its first electricity during hot commissioning two weeks ahead of schedule at the end of a 14 month build programme.
