Salford Heat & Power chalk up another unanimous planning decision for small scale Efw

The Planning Committee for Salford City Council have granted permission for a 2.63MW Biomass EfW plant to be built as a joint venture between Salford Skip Hire Ltd and Bioflame
The project will now go to the next stage and is expected to be live by Summer 2011. Bioflame's planning guru Darren Taylor was typically modest by insisting the decision was probably more to do with the fact that Salford Skip's principal, Tony Cauchi is the Guiness World Record Press-up Champion than his own attention to detail and in depth planning support documentation. Another good day for Bioflame but these decisions can only be taken by planning committees after a serious amount of work by their planning officers.
